Today, February 8, 2025, the last day of ‘Diet Week’ concludes with a cultural procession. After the cultural procession, vision competition, sudden lectures, poetry recitation and open bihu competition was organized. Medals and certificates were officially awarded to today’s winning trainees at the award distribution ceremony. Along with this year best diet voice (male) Manjeet Chetia and best diet voice (female) Nawashita Gogoi. The president of the institution Mr. Ananta Gogoi hoisted the flag of the diet in the playground, along with the other four houses flags bowed down from the penalty. The Principal expressed his gratitude for the active participation of the trainees in the diet week competitions and the enthusiasm they showed, along with the staff and the spokesperson especially the physical education department Sumit Kumar Thapa for a successful celebration of Diet week!

As part of the DIET Jorhat initiative of developing autonomous learners’ and democratic classrooms under the banner ‘ Free Thinking Schools’ : Mukta Chinta Vidyalaya ,a two training was provided to 25 school teachers teaching at preparatory stage of Jorhat District. Today, on the occasion of the “National Education Day ” Diet Jorhat , Titabar had organised a Various programme to commemorate the day. Tarali Chetia(B Ed 1st sem) secured 1st position, Monalisa Sonowal(B Ed 1st sem) Secured 2nd position and Gaurav Gogoi.(B Ed 1st sem) secured 3rd position in extempore speech competition.
On Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, NSS Unit DIET Jorhat, Titabar organized a “Run for Unity” in Titabar, promoting national integration and solidarity. The event was inaugurated and flagged off by Priyabrot Hazarika, ACS, Assistant Commissioner of Titabar co-district. Over 200 NSS volunteers, students, and faculty joined the run, showcasing unity and commitment towards a strong, united India.
As part of DIET Jorhat ongoing initiative ‘Earn While you Learn’ and safe diwali and green student teachers put up a stall to generate awareness and sold out 508 earthen diyas made of wax.
